| Two cherubs holding a sheet of paper in mezzotint within the lower border. A portrait of the actress Fanny Kemble (1759-1812) who was the sister of Sarah Siddons and of John and Charles Kemble. This is one of two different portraits of Fanny Kemble by John Jones after portraits by Reynolds, both published in 1783. Note that another famous actress was also known as Fanny Kemble (1809-93). |
