Described by Walpole as, "É a set of letters in verse, all kinds of verse, describing the life at Bath, and incidently everything else; but so much wit, so much humour, fun and poetry, so much originality, never met together before.". 10th edition. What we are offering here is a very nice copy of The New Bath Guide. The book has a nice inscription on the FFE for a chap who is leaving for America.
The book was published in London and features good sized margins.
The book has been collated and is complete.
Internally, the condition is very good.
The book is bound in full calf, with original labels to the spine. The condition is good - although there is slight scuffing and wear. The hinges are holding well.
