A charming little work, bound in blue paper covered boards, with a brown paper covered spine. It measures approx 17.8 x 10.7cm x 1.8cm. As can be seen from the photos the paper to binding is rather grubby and worn to the extremities, and some minor surface loss. Internally, the front and rear free endpapers are missing, and thus the hinges are a bit creaky. The last leaf is torn at the inner edge and loosening. The contents are lightly browned/foxed grubby in places, this condition is heavier to the last section of approx 9 leaves (including 3 of the publishers adverts) where there is some pale staining to corners, and some creasing. There is also some pale staining to some plate margins. The contents are cracking a little in places, and thus a couple of leaves are loosening from contents. The majority of the leaves are mostly clean.
There are five engraved plates, four of which are charmingly hand coloured.
