elling here is one from a limited edition of two hundred and fifty copies of Richard Warner's 'An History of the Abbey of Glaston and of the Town of Glastonbury....', published in Bath, 1826. A complete copy with all twenty engraved plates (including one map and one hand coloured plate) and fourteen engraved vignettes.

Folio, bound in old green cloth over boards, manuscript paper title label to spine, all page edges untrimmed. Marbled endpapers with City of Cardiff library label to pastedown, their small circular ink stamp to fe and verso of titlepage, ink manuscript ownership to verso of upper fe dated 1866, following plain endpaper with copious pencil notes.
The book measures 26.5cm by 34cm.

The contents are complete, meeting collation: vi, [2], cxlviii, [149]-280, ciii pp, with all twenty engraved plates (including one map and one hand coloured plate) and fourteen engraved vignettes to the Appendix. The title page is laid down and the limitation statement on its reverse can be seen beneath a flap cut from the newer leaf to verso. 

Condition: Externally holding firm though with much wear and scuffing as seen, corners and edges abraded. Internally, the sewing is weak and block cracked at several points round front and middle, old paper repairs round the front and rear joints but now failed at other points, a well used copy but generally in good condition, scattered foxing throughout and browning round the rough trimmed edges, scattered creases and marks commensurate with age and use, some old pencil marginalia and marks at points throughout. A good working copy, for restoration or reference.
