Ivor priced the book at £175 after I said I thought the copy recently sold at DW was too dear at £150. He said he'd intended to price it at £250 because of the rarity of part 2.

General title page to vol 2 has imprint:MH [Middle Hill] : Typis Medio-Montanis, impressit C. Gilmour, 1838 .
It was the intention of the editor to provide an appendix of plates and descriptions of arms (cf. Preface, v. 2); but although a total of 26 lithograph plates were printed (11 for v. 1 and 15 for v. 2), and added to a very small number of copies, they were apparently never formally issued. Vol. 1: iv, 136 p.; v. 2: [8], 124 p. Vol. 2 has added title page:
 An essay towards the description of the North division of Wiltshire. By me, John Aubrey of Easton Pierse.
Very Good.  
Very Rare - no copy currently online on the major databases.
