pump room conversation: A New Preface; and an Appendix, containing a
defence of the work, and a castigation of its persecutors. xxiv + 132pp,
uncut in early marbled boards, rubbed, paper label on top board, later
paper spine with paper label. 1808. £75.00
*  Warner had settled in Bath for 12 years before he wrote this work in
which he thinly disguises his parishioners and their folies and vices.
