W Evans, 1829. 270 x 210mm 54pp, Title page with engraved vignette view, with a further 48 very delicately engraved views in pairs. all edges gilt. Bound in the original red cloth with triple line gilt border, large corner pieces and diamond shaped central panel with gilt lettering, spine similarly elaborately tooled in gilt. Original pale yellow end-papers. CONDITION: This is a remarkably good copy of a VERY RARE title. Internally there is some spotting, most noticeable on the title. The majority of the plates however are pretty clean and free from foxing. The text block is tight in the binding and both endpapers are intact. Externally it is a very fresh and bright copy with only a very slight sign of wear on the rear joint at the head were there is a short split in the cloth measuring about 1cm.
