whose works constitute this collection. Embellished with a View and Plan of
the House. Frontis, 108pp, EXTRA ILLUSTRATED with a folding view of the
house, and a leaf of accompanying letter press and an internal view of the
house. Large Paper Copy, roy 8vo, early half calf, marbled boards and
endpapers, rubbed, lacks spine, frontis loose and ragged at edges, one leaf
has portion torn from inner margin, ex school library with indelible stamps
and ink note to title-page. Tipped in at the rear are 3 manuscript letters
from Lord Methuen, owner of Corsham house, addressed to 'Goldney'. First
edition. Printed for the Author, and Joseph Barrett, Bath: 1806. £65.00
* With the engraved armorial bookplate of 'Frederick Hastings Goldney of
Beechfield, Corsham, Esq. High Sheriff of the County of Wilts. 1908.'
