Book Description: Printed By j M'creery, London, 1817. Hard Cover. Book Condition: Used. No Jacket. Red hide spine with gilt letters, 3" missing at bottom of spine, marble type boards but also very poor, first two pages nearl detached, all 75 portraits are present and in good condition, 8 and 3/4" by 11 and 1/2". The actual portraits are approx. 5 and 1/2" to 6" by 7" to 7 and 1/2". Cover poor but contents good.

Book Description: London: printed by J. M'Creery, 1817. Sm.4to, (262x212mm), [77] leaves, the title and list on contents page together with 75 leaves each carrying an etched portrait, printed in black on a sepia ground within an ornamental frame, some very slight browning, and offset onto the facing blank versos. Contemporary morocco, deep ornamental gilt border framing the sides, backstrip with broad flat bands tooled in gilt, the head and tail of the backstrip restored and some wear to the surface of the leather on the front cover with slight loss of the gilt border.
