A guide to Farleigh-Hungerford, Co. Somerset Containing a description of the ruins of the castle, the old chapel, with its monuments, and the parish church
Red leather with marbled boards and gilt letterng to spine, spine a little rubbed in places, attractive sound, fairly contemporary bonding. Internally, there are two identical title pages, frontis of the castle, folding map, one other plate, full page plan. There are 28pp followed by the map. All seems complete. Armorial bookplate of Francis Frederick Fox to front pastedown, another of James Comerford. At head of title page is a neat presentation inscription 'Charles Edward Long Esq with E. Wilton's kind compliments. Minor foxing to prelims, one of blank pages at rear a little dusty, else internally clean and sound. Book #8205a ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 28 pages.
