Selling here is 'Twenty Four Views of Glastonbury & Neighbourhood', published in Glastonbury by J. Brock, undated but we believe c1870. A Victorian steel engraved view book.
Small oblong 8vo, bound in original publishers brown cloth, blind stamped decoration to both boards, blocked in black to upper, gilt lettered to centre.
The book measures 18.5cm by 12.3cm.
The 24 engraved plates are present as called for, including views of: Glastonbury from Wearyall Hill, Tor Hill, Market Place, St John's Church, St Bendict's Church, Wells Cathedral, The Cliffs - Cheddar, Somerset, Minehead, Dunster and Minehead.
