Description: full brown mottled leather bindings, gilt designs to the spine, illustrated frontispiece, some internal decorations (illustrations), "The New Bath Guide" combined with:
"The Lecture on Heads" by George Alexander Stevens.
"Pious Reflections for Every Day in the Month" by Fenelon, Archbishop of Cambray.
General Remarks: this Cooke's edition of "The New Bath Guide", together with other works, does not appear in the Integrated Catalogue of the British Library or elsewhere on the Internet. Whilst undated at the title, the frontispiece is dated 1797, hence the year of publication.
This is a combined volume of three works, see the book description, each with minor illustrated frontispieces, and some internal decorations.
Size/Weight:
Unpackaged Weight: 160g (approx 5¾oz).
Size: large 24mo (14.5 x 9.75 (approx 5¾ x 3¾ inches)).
Condition:
Externally: rubbed and bumped, some marks, chips and minor stains to the leather, some splitting to the spine, title labels absent, otherwise tightly bound.
Internally: some age browning and foxing, minor water staining in part, otherwise generally bright and tight.
Overall Condition: externally fair, internally fair to good.
