General Notes	H. Besley's Views Of Devonshire c.1870 6x Steel Engravings G. Townsend Card Back This is an antique copy of "H. Besley's Views Of Devonshire", published in Exeter c.1870. It contains six steel plate engravings, five of which are signed G. Townsend. There are tissue guards separating the images. It has the original navy blue card back with black printing. The views in the book are:- Torquay from the sea Torquay from the pier Torquay Meadfoot Torquay from Livermead Sands Watcombe near Torquay Babbicombe (sic). Measures approx 8.6" x 5.3". The binding is still tight with all pages and tissues attached. The card covers have very light scuff marks and no creases. The backs and edges of the  pages and tissues are discoloured,  especially at the top edge. The first and last pages are most affected. The images themselves are clean. Overall, the book is in good condition for its 150 years. Please see photos.
