Later quarter-calf, marbled boards; chip to the top of the spine. Second edition. [Halkett and Laing, p. 167] published the same year as the first expanded with additional essays. The satirical essays describe the Blunderhead family's visit to Bath, depicting manners and customs of the place a popular tourist spot in the eighteenth century. Eighteenth century owner's signature on title page; else very good.
