[2], 24, [frontis + 5 plates] pp. Half brown calf over marbled boards, gilt lettering & floral trellis spine design in gilt. Frontispiece, 5 engraved plates and a vignette - lacking one plate. Front joint cracking, boards and extremities rubbed with a bit of loss to spine ends and one corner. A bright copy with some minor light marks and offsetting to leaves, and foxing to tissue-guards. Newspaper cuttings pasted to front and rear on Fonthill Abbey and the Hamilton Palace sale of Mr Beckford's library, inscribed with the dates 1822, 1882, 1883 and 1885, with 'Finis' inscribed to rear blank leaf with one of the cuttings on Fonthill. Armorial bookplate of William Hodgson and owner's inscription to front endpapers. OCLC records this volume in 2 libraries worldwide. 8vo. Seller Inventory # 74526
