‘Containing an accurate description of the public buildings, institutions and amusements of the city; with observations on the medicinal virtues, and directions for the use, of the Bath waters; and other useful information. Embellished with eight original engravings and a correct plan of the city.’
A fascinating book with information on the people of Bath as well as the town itself.
Book measures approx inches 8 x 5 with 176 pages. Paper covered boards have some soiling and bumping. The paper spine covering is cracked and partially missing. Internally the book is in very good condition. There is some cracking in the front hinge and some foxing on the last two pages. Signature on front endpaper. Map, pages and engravings all clean and with no damage.
