| Erroneously titled "Gordon Castle", this is actually George Heriot's School, Edinburgh. It's been copied by one of Alexander Hogg's engravers from the 17th century view by John Slezer. Slezer made a curious error by titling his print "Bogen-Gight" (the seat of the Duke of Gordon). Hogg perpetuated the error but updated the title to "Gordon Castle". |
