Mr Campbell Dodgson dates this block a little after 1500; the 
archaic drawing connects it with the earlier portion of "The Great Passion". 
Fine old impression of FIRST STATE ; arm of cross in its original 
condition, but end of nail broken, and border is broken in places ; 
but before any of the repairs to block, as seen in no. 26a British 
Museum Catalogue. In perfect condition, with small margins. |
