Borough of Marlborough.In pursuance of a request from the Town Council, I hereby appoint a Public Meeting of the In-habitants of Marlborough, to be holden at the Guild-hall, on Wednesday, the 27th day of August Instant, at Twelve o'Clock at noon, for the purpose of considering the benefits likely to arise to the Town, from the proposed Manchester and Southampton Railway, and the propriety of taking measures for supporting the project.
